EN 10219-2 Cold Formed Welded Structural Hollow Sections (Pipe/Tubing) for Building Construction

Material

EN 10219 cold formed welded structural hollow sections are load-bearing steel tubes manufactured by cold-forming strip/plate into a closed section and producing a continuous weld (commonly ERW/HF). EN 10219-2 governs tolerances, dimensions, and sectional properties, while steel grades and delivery requirements are defined in EN 10219-1.

Typical grade options (examples): S235JRH, S275J0H, S355J2H (non-alloy structural steels) and S420MH, S460MH (fine-grain, thermomechanically rolled steels).
